It seems like every week we see announcements for trendy, top-of-the-line, and downright delicious food choices coming to the Upstate. Check out which ones we’re most excited about.

Husk Greenville Launches Lunch Menupizza upstate headlines

Husk Greenville, historically only open for dinner and brunch, will open for lunch April 25 with a menu that is a happy medium between the brunch dishes and more refined dinner offerings. The Greenville chef de cuisine Jon Buck says the menu, which is changes daily, is attainable for his kitchen staff at the outset, pulling successful items from the Nashville and Charleston Husk lunch menus and putting a Greenville spin on them.

Spill The Beans Is Coming to Spartanburg

Coffee and ice cream lovers, rejoice! Spill the Beans, the much-loved coffee and ice cream spot in Greenville and Clemson is opening in Spartanburg. Located at 174 E. Main St., Spill the Beans is the first business to move into the recently renovated Aug W. Smith building. The shop, currently in soft opening mode, is open from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. this week. After the official opening, they’ll be open from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

D’Allesandros Pizza Opens in Greenville

The much-anticipated Charleston-based D’Allesandro’s Pizza has opened at 17 Mohawk Drive in the newly developed NorthPointe Standard strip center. Greenville residents John Petrich, who lives in the nearby North Main neighborhood, and his stepson Chad Matheny have partnered with brothers Nick and Ben D’Allesandro to bring their favorite pizza to the Upstate. There are around 30 pies, all of which start with a base of D’Allesandro’s scratch-made dough (prepared each morning).

Spartanburg Has a New Foodie Facebook Group

Join Spartanburg Eats, a Facebook group hosted by the Spartanburg Herald Journal, for all your local foodie news. This new social hub for discussing dining experiences in Spartanburg County and the Upstate will provide an opportunity for members to share everything from recipes to local dining experiences and news.
