31 Oct Caine’s Commercial Brokers Honored at GGAR Luncheon

Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine’s Pete Brett and Sammy DuBose were honored at the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® Associate Membership luncheon for their respective work in the community.
GGAR presented the 2018 Revitalization Awards and installed new members of the Board of Directors during the luncheon, held at the Poinsett Club on October 11, 2018.
The 2018 Commercial Revitalization Award was presented to Westone Development LLC for their work at Westone at 109 West Stone Avenue in Greenville. Caine’s own, Pete Brett, was an essential part of the project as one of the developers and the broker leading acquisition, leasing, and project management.
In determining the Revitalization Award recipients, GGAR looked for individuals who took chances by investing time, money, and effort into a property with the goal of benefitting the greater good of the community. Pete’s vision of revitalizing a piece of Greenville history to create Westone did just that.
Sammy DuBose
The popular development features salvaged elements of the original buildings, which were remodeled to be used as a multipurpose area for the community. With restaurants, a brewery, a coffee shop, a gym, a barber shop and more, the space has quickly become a Greenville hotspot. Read more about it here.
Sammy DuBose was also recognized during the Associate Member Luncheon. Sammy, who has been with Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine for 31 years, was appointed to the GGAR Board of Directors. Sammy’s position as chairman of the steering committee of the GGAR Commercial Alliance led to his new position on the Board.
In his new station, he will work to bring value to the community of GGAR’s REALTORS®. His service to his career and to Coldwell Banker Caine display his dedication to the community and to Greenville real estate.
