Meet Brent Atwood, Manager of Residential Property Management Services for Coldwell Banker Caine, and see what he has to say about living in Greenville.
Q: Your focus on the Property Management side of real estate must provide the opportunity to view life in Greenville from some interesting vantage points. As a resident of Greenville, what are your favorite things about living here?
A: I love the downtown area and the family-friendly things to do. We live and work close to downtown so we’e really able to enjoy it. I like that it’s only a few minutes from the mountains, 1.5 hours from Charlotte, 3 hours from the beach and just 2 hours from Atlanta.
Q: What specific areas of Greenville do Renters’ seem drawn to living in?
A: Simpsonville, Greer and downtown Greenville are hot spots.
Q: What are some ways you provide peace of mind to property owners, especially if they live out of state?
A: Transparency. We try to keep our lines of communication open as much as possible so the owners are aware of what’s going on at their property. They receive monthly statements via email as well as copies of any invoices and work orders that were incurred during the month. Some owners prefer to be hands off, but some like to know everything. For those owners, we have the ability to copy them on work orders so they can be aware of any issues made aware of the issue immediately.
Q: What is your favorite way to stay active in the Greenville community like a favorite sport, hobby or restaurant?
A: I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my 18-month-old son and my wife. We are both Clemson grads and love everything Clemson. We love Giovanni’s on Woodruff Road which is a very small Italian restaurant that is a great little secret. We also enjoy Pomegranate downtown and all that the city has to offer.
