23 Jan Stephen Edgerton Named 50 Most Influential of 2022 by Greenville Business Magazine
Annually, Greenville Business Magazine celebrates the area’s leaders through the esteemed honor of the 50 Most Influential People. This year, President and CEO of the Caine Companies, Stephen Edgerton, was among the list of community trailblazers.
More than 10 years ago, Edgerton joined Caine as chief operating officer and began evolving the then 75-year-old firm. Today, as we celebrate our 90th year in real estate, Coldwell Banker Caine is known for its innovative attitude, its hundreds of high-caliber associates, and its deep commitment to community.
Past Chairman of the Metro Greenville YMCA board and a board member for Greenville YMCA Foundation, Artisphere, and Visit Greenville SC, Edgerton’s professional influence reaches beyond the workplace. He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Thanks to Edgerton’s philanthropic leadership, the company’s Caine Cares program impacts the Upstate through programs focused on human services, animal welfare, arts, and health and wellness. These values are evident in Edgerton’s own life through his personal community service efforts, including delivering to the same Meals on Wheels route for more than 12 years.
