The 4th of July commemorates the Declaration of Independence of the United States, which occurred on July 4th, 1776. Today, the holiday is associated with fireworks displays, parades, picnics, concerts, and more.

Wells Fargo Red, White & Blue Festival
July 4 from 5-10 PM, Downtown Greenville
With live music on two stages, popular food and drink vendors, and one of the state’s largest fireworks displays, this free event is a must do.

July 4 from 6-10 PM, Barnet Park in Downtown Spartanburg
Enjoy BBQ, burgers, funnel cakes, ice cream, and more. Plus, a fireworks show presented by Zambelli Fireworks.

Greer Freedom Blast
June 29 from 6-10 PM, Greer City Park
Compete in a rib eating contest, enjoy live music from Ashland Craft and James Tucker, watch the military tribute, donate blood, and more. This event will be full of fun!

Celebrate Simpsonville
June 29 at 6 PM, Heritage Park
Enjoy free music from South Carolina-based Jake Bartley Band and southern rock staple, the Atlanta Rhythm Section, before the finale – a dazzling professional fireworks display.

All American Blast
July 4 from 4-10 PM, Downtown Fountain Inn
Enjoy kid’s entertainment, cold beverages, food, and fireworks at dusk. Don’t forget your lawn chair!

Easley’s Fourth of July Festival
July 4 & 5, Downtown Easley
For two days, enjoy live music, fourteen food vendors, and nine different carnival rides in downtown Easley.

July 3 from 5-10 PM, Central
Listen to beach music from the award-winning Carolina Coast Band, carnival food, a flag raising ceremony by Boy Scout Troop 161, and a spectacular fireworks show.
