05 Aug Jan Petersen Joins Coldwell Banker Caine in Greenville
Coldwell Banker Caine recently welcomed Jan Petersen to its Greenville office as a residential agent. Jan was born and raised in the Upstate and has thoroughly enjoyed taking advantage of the surrounding lakes, mountains, and beaches. In addition, she loves that the Upstate gets a taste of all four seasons, something a lot of areas do not get to experience.
The bulk of Jan’s career has been serving as the Director of Governmental Procurement for two Upstate school districts where she procured daily routine supplies, technology, and equipment to construction, abatement, and renovation of offices, schools, and stadiums. This role also gave her experience selling properties the districts acquired either through donations or purchases, some of which included residential housing. Naturally, the next step in her career was to sell real estate full time.
Jan’s goal when working with clients is to make them feel supported, appreciated, and cared for during the entire transaction process. She works tirelessly to make their real estate dreams a reality and help them make sound investments while doing it.
Jan is heavily involved in her hometown, Liberty, and Upstate community. Over the past 20 years, she has served on the Liberty Festivals and Events Board and organized and directed the Liberty Christmas Parade. She is currently serving as a board member for Family Promise of Pickens County and the City of Liberty Zoning Board of Appeals.
“It is with great excitement that we welcome Jan to the Caine family,” said Stephen Edgerton, President and CEO of Coldwell Banker Caine. “Her passion for serving her clients and the community will take her far.”
