Today marks the 105th birthday of our parent company, Coldwell Banker.
What better way to celebrate this great milestone than sharing a little bit of history!
Founded on August 27, 1906, on the heels of the devastating 1906 fire and earthquake that leveled San Francisco, Coldwell Banker is the nation’s oldest real estate company.Colbert Coldwell, a young real estate agent, saw the need for honest, knowledgeable real estate services to help rebuild the city. 
As the company grew, he hired Arthur Banker as a member of his sales staff. The two businessmen eventually formed a partnership, and in 1914 officially named the company Coldwell Banker.
The commitment to professionalism and customer service, which remains the cornerstone of Coldwell Banker’s business philosophy today, has helped make the dream of homeownership a reality for millions of families.
