02 Sep Upstate REALTORS® enjoy tour given by two of Coldwell Banker Caine’s own
On Thursday, August 24, the United Way Palmetto Society sponsored a Ladies event for Upstate REALTORS®. The evening culminated in a trolley tour of downtown Greenville guided by two of our own: Helen Hagood, residential agent, and Caroline Schroder, VP of business development and community relations.
Starting in the Earle Street Historic District and winding their way through downtown, the tour covered history on the land, the neighborhoods, various churches and the many types of architecture represented in the historic residential areas. But, of course, since centuries worth of history isn’t the only thing downtown Greenville is famous for, the guides also focused on recent real estate development and other attractions such as Fluor Field, the Liberty Bridge, the Swamp Rabbit Trail and many projects in progress.
Ashley Andrews, manager of our residential office operations and concierge services, was one of 50 in attendance at the event and called the tour a “rewarding experience.” “I got on the trolley excited about a tour of Greenville and got off with a greater appreciation of the city I live in.”
