Meet Kate Dabbs
Kate Dabbs is the Integrated Marketing Manager at Coldwell Banker Caine. She joined the company about six months ago with previous experience working for her alma mater, Furman University, doing marketing and communications for alumni and development as well as working for a local nonprofit, Greenville Forward. This weekend she graduates with her master’s degree in professional communications from Clemson University.
One of Kate’s passions is being active. She grew up playing sports and loves to try new athletic activities. The next thing to check off her list is to complete an olympic-distance triathlon at the end of June. Her parents also instilled a love of the outdoors in her from an early age, so being in nature is how she spends her time recharging. Kate’s other hobbies include cooking with her husband, Dixon, dining at Greenville’s many wonderful restaurants, reading on the porch, traveling, and walking her black lab, Flo.
Though originally from North Carolina, Kate grew up in the low country of South Carolina. After attending Furman, she never left the Upstate because she fell in love with the community. Her perfect Greenville evening would include a fabulous dinner downtown and going to a show at the Peace Center.
The best advice she’s ever received was to always work for the job you want to have. Clearly that is something she has applied to her work ethic. Thank you, Kate, for all of your hard work!
