Caine and United Way – A Match Meant to Be

Caine and United Way – A Match Meant to Be

Caring for the community has been part of our DNA at Caine since our inception in 1933. Our Caine Cares program reinforces our true values by creating a well-established culture of giving at the corporate and individual level. As part of our Caine Cares program, we are proud to partner with United Way year after year.

This history of giving to United Way has positively impacted not only the Upstate through our donations, but also, our unity and spirit as a company. Caine has given to the United Way since its inception in Greenville County, and our late chairman, Frank Halter, even sat as the chair of the United Way Campaign one year.

We are pleased to continue in the legacy of giving this year as aPace Setter for the campaign. We are also thrilled to participate in a Spartanburg United Way campaign for the first time through the United Way of Piedmont.

United Way truly captures the heart of the Caine Cares platform by focusing on two of our key pillars, human services and health and wellness.

At Caine, all of our work centers on finding people a happy and safe place to call home. We believe that having a home base where you feel loved and protected is the key to finding success in life. Through United Way’s vision of a Cycle of Success, we hope to positively impact families by creating a recurrence of stable homes.

Not only do we give financially, but also our agents and staff give of their time through United Way partner agencies like Meals on Wheels. United Way is able to take seemingly small sacrifices of time and money and turn them into opportunities to positively change people’s lives in our community.

The fabric of our company is made up of a history of giving and a focus on home. This truth makes giving to United Way every year an easy decision. For this campaign, we hope to raise more than ever before – even better, we hope to see our hearts grow in new ways in care and love for the community that has been so gracious to us.
