03 Jan Brad Halter Honored Among 50 Most Influential Greenvillians of 2016
The Caine Company’s Chairman, Brad Halter, has been recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential people in Greenville in 2016 by Greenville Business Magazine. This is his eighth time being honored on this esteemed annual list.
“As Greenville continues to grow, our community attracts the best and the brightest talent from across the country to live and work here,” Halter stated. “I am truly blessed to call this special place my home and to be a part of so much excitement as our city blossoms in ways that I could have only dreamed as a child growing up here. Being seen as an influencer – especially in the same breath as the other leaders on this list – is as humbling as it’s ever been. My hope is to continue to be a person people trust and with whom they associate this great city.”
As Chairman of The Caine Company, which operates both Coldwell Banker Caine and Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine, Halter is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and leads community outreach and business development initiatives for the firm. A third-generation REALTOR®, licensed since 1978, Halter’s professional experience extends from residential sales and management and new home construction to commercial sales and leasing. He is a former director of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors (GGAR), past president of the Multiple Listing Service and past Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee.
Halter continues to be a highly active member of the Upstate community. He is the 2017 Chair of the Cancer Society of Greenville County, serves on the board of directors for the Greenville Convention and Visitors Bureau, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Halter is a past member of the Board of Governors for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and served two terms on the City of Greenville’s Board of Zoning Appeals.
