Artist Spotlight: Alix Reshauge

Alix Reshauge’s lively landscape paintings are on display and available for purchase through the end of December, at the Coldwell Banker Caine Spartanburg gallery.   

On October 24, art enthusiasts gathered to view Reshauge’s vibrant and colorful work as part of our Caine Cares initiative at an artist reception, open to the public.   

Art aficionados across the Upstate came to meet Reshauge, mingle with friends and art collectors, and purchase pieces on display.   

Reshauge shared “My work is a celebration of place and time. I’m drawn to landscapes and the adventures and activities that accompany them.” Several pieces in the collection captured beloved landscapes from the Upstate and Western North Carolina. “This exhibition was a nod to the proximity of these places that are just around the corner from where we live. I think of the rejuvenation and freedom I seek in nature and that these places are forever changed by Helene,” said Reshauge.

Reshauge’s work will be on display and available for purchase through the end of December at the Coldwell Banker Caine Spartanburg gallery located at 151 S. Daniel Morgan Ave. The gallery space is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm.
